Rugby for Heroes works with the rugby community to raise funds and awareness for military personnel who are making the transition to civilian life. We are committed to providing financial and personal support, to help individuals overcome the many challenges that this transition presents.
The CRF were approached by the Rugby for Heroes charity to help fund the amazing attempt by Mark Leighton and John Myatt to break the record for the fastest two-way two man swim. To ensure that all their funds raised contributed directly to this great charity, the CRF contributed to the operational cost of the challenge.
Fair play to Mark and John they completed the swim in 22 hours and 49 minutes raising a huge 10k for the charity.
